About Brynn
Unwavering Emotional and Spiritual Support
Brynn is a Board-Certified Chaplain in Mental Health with over 14 years of experience supporting individuals through grief, trauma, addiction, and spiritual crisis. Known for her deep empathy and grounded presence, Brynn creates a space where people feel seen, heard, and safe as they navigate life’s most painful and transformational moments.
Her work centers on helping people find meaning, healing, and inner resilience—especially those experiencing spiritual disconnection, loss, or emotional overwhelm. While some people seek out grief counseling or mental health support, Brynn offers something different: a nonclinical, holistic approach rooted in deep listening, compassionate presence, and spiritual care.
Ordained in the United Church of Christ and trained in clinical spiritual care, Brynn serves individuals from all walks of life—religious, spiritual, atheist, agnostic, secular, earth-based, and questioning. Her practice is inclusive, affirming, and grounded in the belief that every person holds the capacity to heal and grow.
As a chaplain, Brynn meets people where they are. Whether you're grieving the loss of a loved one, navigating a life transition, or searching for meaning, she provides spiritual and emotional support that honors your identity, values, and beliefs—without judgment, labels, or assumptions.
A Chaplain for Every Path
An Integrative Approach to Healing
Brynn draws from a wide range of tools and traditions to guide her work, offering care that is holistic, grounded, and attuned to the needs of the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Using skills acquired through training in grief, trauma, and emotional support, her approach includes:
Clinical chaplaincy training in grief, trauma, and emotional support, including completion of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) in both hospital and veteran settings
Practices like meditation, present-moment awareness, and grounding exercises to support emotional regulation and spiritual connection
Insights from psychology, embodiment practices, and spiritual reflection across diverse traditions
Shamanic traditions rooted in her Cherokee (Eastern Band) ancestry, honoring ancestral wisdom and earth-based healing
Extensive training in mental health integration for chaplain services, ensuring that spiritual support complements emotional and psychological well-being
As a trained Core Shamanic Practitioner in the Michael Harner lineage, Brynn honors the sacred medicine offered by nature and the wisdom of ancestral traditions. Her connection to the Earth and Spirit infuses her work with reverence, humility, and a deep respect for the journey of healing.

A Co-Creative Process
Healing is not something that happens to you — it’s something you actively participate in. Brynn approaches each journey as a co-creative process, working alongside clients to help them reconnect with their Essence, their purpose, and their inner strength.
Whether you are navigating complicated grief, emotional fatigue, or a profound desire for change, Brynn will walk with you—not as a therapist or counselor, but as a spiritual companion on the path to wholeness.
More Than a Chaplain
When she’s not meeting with clients or leading groups, Brynn spends time recharging in nature—hiking, biking, and connecting with the sacred energy of the earth. She also shares life with her partner and their beloved rescue pup, Moo Moo, whose presence is a constant reminder of love, loyalty, and joy.
